Happy Christmas

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas from The Jono Show, We hope 2009 will be a new era for myself and this website. Check out www.louderthanthemusic.com as this will become the new great website to check out all christian music news and reviews, very much like this site. Sadly in 2009 this site will close down, but again thanks to all who supported this small mini adventure, its been fun, but for me the story goes on with the new site. Please pray for the website as we hopefully expanded it day by day with great information for people to read. Thanks again guys. SO yeah Merry Christmad and a Happy New Year and as one wise man once said "God Bless us, everyone"

Website Update

I have had a nice e-mail today, asking why The Jono Show site hasnt been updated with any new reviews/blogs or news in the last ten days, and you are all right, I am very very sorry for not putting anything up. But I have to admit The Christmas period stress has started to get to me. Yes thats right, Shooping and putting up the tree and all that jazz has taken up to much of my time, and sadly this site has taken a knock. But fear not. I have also been working with a good Friend of mine Dave Wood to create a website based around this one called Louder The The Music. It's going to be very much like this, but easier to read, and more updates. Its not live yet, but you can look at our new cool logo and add your name to the mailing list, that will be cool, wouldnt it. More reviews coming up in the next few days to read, so please stay in contact, this is only the start.

Jono Loyalty Card

Everyone wants to help a mate and I'm no different, but this mate of Mine Mr Rhys Gronow(used to do "The Rhys & Jono Show") has open a computer games store. PS3/WII/XBOX games. So check out Christian Game Store. You might say nothing new about that, but if you look at the prices at everything is nearly if not more than £5.00 cheaper that shop prices. For example FIFA 09 (Ps3) is 39.99 in Game on Christian Game Store its £33.99 with free postage. Wow. I know. So People get over there to Christian Game Store and get Christmas shopping. Not only that but 90% yes 90% of the net profit will be given to Barnabus Fund, Who are Barnabus Fund I hear you cry? well check out Barnabus Fund for more info. They are a Charity that help the persecuted church. Great mission charity.

So so far so good I hear you say, but wait there is more. I'm starting to sound like a QVC sales man.The Jono loyalty card. Yes that's right I am my own loyalty card,if you want even more discount (yes more) All you have to do when buying the game is to enter the word Jono in the promotional field that is on the purchase screen. After a while this will gain you more discount, it works out like this
After the buying first 5 games -Earns a 5% discount on the next title
After the next 10 games -Earns a 10% discount on the next title
Then after every next 10 games --Earns a total £5.00 discount on the next title

This scheme gives way better discounts then the Game loyalty card. The Jono Loyalty card is a must have so again go check out http://www.christiangamestore.co.uk/ and remember to put me, yes me - Jono in the discount code to start making more savings. Also if there is a game that's not in the list e-mail Rhys and I'm sure he will give you a great price for it. Is this site to good to be true. No. This is someone doing Gods work through a website that any game lover can use

I'm Not A Celeb

For the first time this series I watched I'm A Celebrity(Get me out of here). And I had to say I enjoyed it. Joe Swash is a very very funny bloke and I don't think he realises it. But the question you got to ask is why do we love reality tv so much. Is it because the unknown could but often doesn't happen. Do we like to see evil people in the tv show get there dues. Or is it because Soaps are now predictable. I have to admit, I don't watch much reality Tv. I did when Younger. But its once you start watching you get stuck in it. Big Brother was one. Below is a list of winners and the ones I watched religiously and the ones I didn't.

Craig Phillips Series 1 2000 WATCHED
Brian Dowling Series 2 2001 WATCHED
Kate Lawler Series 3 2002 WATCHED
Cameron Stout Series 4 2003 WATCHED
Nadia Almada Series 5 2004 DIDN'T WATCH
Anthony Hutton Series 6 2005 WATCHED
Pete Bennett Series 7 2006 WATCHED
Brian Belo Series 8 2007 DIDN'T WATCH
Rachel Rice Series 9 2008 DIDN'T WATCH

Strange how I watched some and not others, but lets be honest, It's the small old, every year with these programmes. Why don't TV Channels invest in more series like Life of Mars, and not celeb comedy panel shows or so called celeb reality TV. Its getting worse and its about time we all turned off the TVs and started enjoying watching our own life's and enjoying that instead of watching someone else is life for 60od days.

BLOG, VAT & CHARTS

I spent all yesterday thinking about what to write in this blog. Should I write for the sake of it or should I find the big issue of the world and give my view about it. I couldn't make my mind up. I have looked at whats the big news today and all the news page is about is less VAT and lets be honest who wants to really talk about that. In other news this week, Delirious charted at a poor 55 and Compassionart was released. Well Delirious being 55 in the chart compared to there best number 16 with See The Star is sad, sadly people don't care about the charts. Its how it is. Compassionart is amazing go buy it, but it for your whole family.. Its for a good course and yes its all good. E-mail me if you fancy giving me a topic to chat about. Be Nice

Getting that Christmas Feeling

Last night was the first time I managed to get the so called "Christmas Feeling". I was in Cardiff doing some shopping and seeing all the lights the large Christmas Tree, Santa's Grotto. It made me feel all warm inside. I suppose you could say it's still only November the 21st and I agree there is still a long way to the big day. But isn't this all part of the fun, the shopping to get the perfect present for someone who already has everything, the idea of going out to buy the Christmas tree to drag it into the house getting pine needles everywhere. Me attempting to wrap a present up and making it look like it has been dropped 20 times. The cold winters night in front of the tree with a movie and a large cup of coco. As the Coke & Cola adverts say Holidays are coming.

Sergeant for President

Everyone has had there view in the press, but I'm going to give my view about this. For all of you who don't know what I am talking about. Mr John Sergeant has walked out from the BBC programme Strictly Come Dancing. He wasn't the best dancer but a joy to watch. There are a few reasons why he said he left. But the one that seems to be coming across most is that fact that the other dancers were starting to get over serious about it and getting a bit over the top that he was still in. I have had many people in work saying "but it's a dance competition" and in a way it is, but the reason I watch SCD every Saturday night (apart from the wife making me) is because its fun to see different people of all ages and ability attempt to dance.

My opinion is if I wanted to see a dance competition I would go and watch some pro's do it who are very very good at it, and I'm sure there are plenty of great competition in your local area you could go and watch. Another issue I have, if we all wanted to see everyone of a brilliant standard why bother asking John in the first place. Why didn't the judges make the BBC just ask all fit 20 -3 0 year old's who look good and have some dance background. why you ask? is because us the public would get bored of that very easy and we love seeing people trying and that's what John did, you tried so hard at a gift/skill he wasn't blessed with fully. John Sergeant we salute you.

Children In Need. Compassion & Football

Just wanted to keep you guys up to date with what happen with Children in Need on Friday. All together they have raised £20,991,216.00 for people who don't know that's over 20 million Pounds. Great stuff. Well done to everybody who took part or gave something or did something. Of course you can keep giving so if you got a few quid changed head on over to www.bbc.co.uk/cin to keep donating. As well as all that I'm planning at the moment to do a Compassion blog, Compassion is a charity that helps us sponsor a child in a poverty hit ten country. I would serious consider this and this time next week I will give you all the facts and details about this great opportunity. So keep checking back. OH yeah video of the week is Mary Mary with there new track Heaven

I should really talk about my blog title, Football. Tonight there are a few games on, the biggest being Germany v England on ITV they even cancelled I'm a celebrity, get me out of here for it (I'll talk about that programme tomorrow). Germany and England have had a long history of interesting, exciting games so this one could be interesting. For me I will be watching Wales V Denmark. Lets hope for all British Teams to win tonight. On a separate Football note, it was good to see Maradona (in Scotland for his Argentina's game against Scotland) saying cheating is ok. That's why in my eyes Pele is the best player ever. Madonna sorry I mean Maradonna is a cheat and always will be

It Children In Need on BBC all tonight, so need to go out for a meal, get some food in or make your own, don't go out and of course give some money. To make a Online Donation click here, or phone 03457 33 22 33. Make a difference. I was reading some history about Children in need on there website and thought I would share some with you guys.

The BBC's first broadcast appeal for children was a five-minute radio programme on Christmas Day in 1927. It raised £1,143 18s 3d and the proceeds were shared with four prominent children's charities. The first televised appeal was the 1955 'Children's Hour Christmas Appeal', presented by Sooty and Harry Corbett. The Christmas Day Appeals continued on TV and radio right up until 1979, raising a total of £625,836. The presenters included Terry Hall, Eamonn Andrews, Leslie Crowther, Michael Aspel and the rising star of the Radio 2 Breakfast Show - Terry Wogan - who made his debut appearance in 1978.

In 1980 the appeal was broadcast on BBC One in a new telethon format, hosted by Terry with Sue Lawley and Esther Rantzen. The telethon was the brainchild of Mark Patterson, who went on to be the Executive Producer for nine years. It captured the public's imagination to such an extent that the donations increased dramatically and broke the million mark for the very first time.

Pudsey made his television debut in 1985 when Terry introduced the new, brown cuddly mascot to the audience. He was designed by Joanna Ball, a BBC graphics designer, who named him after the West Yorkshire town where she was born. He proved very popular and returned as Children in Need's official logo the following year with his design amended to that of a yellow bear with a red spotted bandage.

In the two decades which have followed, countless cuddly bears have been sold to raise money for the charity, while Pudsey himself has received letters, drawings and e-mails from youngsters all over the UK and been photographed with more celebrities than he can remember. Apart from a party hat worn in 2004 to celebrate the telethon's silver jubilee, Pudsey has remained very much the same. But a 2007 revamp has given Pudsey a fresh new look and brighter colours in time for the 28th annual BBC Children in Need Appeal.

So there you guys know a little bit about the History of Children In Need on TV so please donate by clicking here.

Blogging Away

It takes thought to think of what to put on a blog, sometimes you think of issue you have to tell the world about, or other days you think nobody wants to hear my view. Well I have been away in Spain, at one stage as we were about to land It felt like I was in a Die Hard Movie (only watch if your over the age of 18). As the Plane was coming into land we were close to landing and then suddenly the plane pulled up very quickly. We then went back out to see to Hover around to re land, after some time we did. As the female Captain Pilot came on the tanoy she announced we had a technical Issue. Thankfully we made it back in one piece. Ok so whats happening with the site, coming soon will be the Compassionart cd & the New Krystal Myers album, both very very good. Some big news happening with this site soon, so please keep checking back for all updates.

Jonathan Ross & Russell Brand

Everyone seems to have a view on this so why cant I add my ten pence. May I start by saying this isn't a blog to say what is right or wrong, this is just my view. May I also say what was said in that radio show was over the mark and stupid. Anyway I'm a big fan of Russell Brands radio show on BBC 2. Its on late on a Saturday and most shows they verge on going over the line. He is at times very funny and has great guests and also plays some good tunes. I did happen to listen the the show when it went out live(pre recorded live) and at the time I did find it funny but also a part of me felt "OH that's a bit rude on the guy". Sometimes when we do jokes we forget about the hurt that others could end feeling and this is what happen this time. This was a joke that was rude and stupid done in the heat of the moment between two friends not thinking about the hurt and pain this could cause.(who of us can say we never done that when we were with our friends, we go over the top sometimes, but don't mean it) I do believe this has all be blow up in a mass media frenzy, cause papers need to be filled with something and as people dieing of lack of food and large wars going on the papers seem to think this is some bigger story. Idiots.

Another part to all of this is the reaction which has happen, at the time of the show of com had two complaints.. Only two and I'm sure that could of been just at the fact Russell has stupid hair. But now of com have had 30,000 complaints. What annoys me is, did these people just phone up to complain after the event. Another question I would like to ask people who seem to have a view about it, did they even listen to the show or listen to the comments that were made. (again I'm not saying the comments are fine). Its the way the media and people have reacted to this, to be fair to Brand and Ross they both apologised to Mr Sachs straight away(Ross by going over to his house with a letter of apologise and some flowers) And Russell also said he was sorry, to me that should of been the end of it. The BBC should of given them both slaps on the wrists and said be more careful next time or u lose your jobs. But no the media made a massive issue of it all and now the BBC have cut shows and are scared how they look in all this. OK my rant is over. All in all, I think it was a unfair rude joke by two mates together and the media have made it into a massive witch hunt

Snow In October

I hear last night that It Snowed in parts of England in October, whats that all about. Everyone seems over excited when snow is about. I have to admit I love Snow. You can throw it, build snowmen in it, slide in it.. jump down hills on it. Pure amazing. Sadly we didn't have any in Cardiff, but its OK. I'm told by our lovely weather lady, Jack Frost is on his way. So its nearly Christmas, OK well not nearly but the start of the build up is here. I'm not a big fan of Christmas shopping so will do all my shopping online or these next few weeks. I don't mind people shopping for presents for people, but you always seem to see people buying random stuff that will be used once at Christmas to give to people. Just buy them something they want, some aftershave a pair of socks and a links Christmas set and your sorted.I suppose we say it every year, but people over indulge themselves in the festive buying/eating/drinking/eating. Maybe this year with the Credit Crunch (still hate that word) we might see people use there brains more than there credit card. In other news, I'm thinking of starting a new page with Video of the week, that could be good. Below is the a link to the new page with has the new video from Krystal Myers, Make some Noise

Best Man Speech

Its been an emotional day, even the cakes in tears, one of my many jokes of my best man speech which went down a storm. This was all in aid of the Wedding of Rhys Gronow & Rachel Smart, and what a great day it was. It was an honour to stand there and watch them get married, at times I felt a complete lemon standing there why these two special people gave there vows. I was even sick three times before we left the hotel to go to the wedding venue.Well it has been a very special weekend, and I would like to thank all the people who laughed at my wedding speech. Onto Football and Liverpool are top the league table, isn't it great and about time to. Liverpool beat Chelsea on Sunday and it was an amazing display.

I have been asked why I haven't update my listen again show and I promise you all by this time next week we will have another show up on air. The reason I haven't been on air is because sadly some idiots hagged into http://www.sonriseradio.com/ website and destroyed the whole page, so I said I would take a break and charge my batteries as the site starts to get back on air. I really believe were getting there, so the shows will start to filter through on a weekly basis. Listen to as little or much as you want of course, but to hear your track and your name on air, just e-mail jono@thejonoshow.com

Vandals & Weddings

Why do people do it, what makes someone want to randomly smash up a wing mirror of the car, there is no reward gain for that person, it just is pointless stupid vandalism. As you can tell I'm annoyed. I woke up this morning to see out side my house 5-6 cars in a row having had there wing mirrors smashed in or pulled off. My car being car number 4. I honestly cant see the point of someone bothering to do it. Idiots. Anyway on a more happier note. Its nearly Rhys & Rachel's Wedding. This Saturday they will be married in a church in Cheltenham. I'm best man so am really really worried about the speech, could end up looking like a complete idiot. So please be thinking about me. For all you who don't know before the Jono show, me and Rhys used to run a radio show called The Rhys & Jono Show, was fun and we did some great shows. Really funny and random. Great nights they were. As I'm traveling to Cheltenham tomorrow I might not blog all weekend. So maybe see you guys Monday. So have a great weekend and leave a comment below it would be nice to hear your views on stuff. I nearly forgot I'm off to see Tim Hughes & Al Gordon tonight in Swansea Ill try and tell you how that went tomorrow & also check out the new review on surprise surprise the review page for a great new album Live to Worship 4...Until Next Time..Bye

Pink Tie's

From my title of this blog I think you can see where I'm going with this. I was on the train today and the amount of older gentlemen who were wearing pink ties were crazy. I counted at least 4 older men with there black suits and crisp white shirts with a pink tie. Now I'm not having a go at them, but it just didn't suit them. Pink ties work on some people, on others they don't. But hey who am I to judge you might ask... I honestly cant pull of pink clothes, full stop. It just doesn't suit my complexion (big word of the day). To me it looked like these men were trying a bit to hard to be cool. As I said again, who am I to judge.

Last night didn't do much but try and attempt to write a best man wedding speech for a wedding I'm going to Saturday in Cheltenham, hope I don't make a complete idiot of myself. But tomorrow night is going to be great. Were all off to Swansea to see Mr Tim Hughes & Al Gordon lead a service, hopefully should be a great night. There doing this through a event called Worship Central, check out there website here. Anyway Better be off Things to do, people to see. God Bless

Weekends

Why does it seem to be that weekends go so quick, yet when you wake up Monday morning and in work/school or whatever someone asks you how your weekend was and the only answer you simple seem to be able to give someone is "it was OK" and then they ask what you did and you more than likely say "nothing much". Strange isn't it. I am trying very very hard to work out what I did Friday night....OH yes we had a dinner party at my house, all our closet friends over for food, it must of been a good party as there were no tears and no glasses being broken. Saturday consist of me helping my mum out in the kitchen of the church for a wedding of a couple in our church. I was up and in the church by 8:00am moving chairs, tables.. cooking.. everything that needed to be done we did. I even hoovered.

On a complete different matter, I want to say well done to Mr Lewis Hamilton for such a great drive in the F1 racing, there is only one race to go and he has nearly won the trophy. Its going to be an amazing race next week, it can still go all go wrong.

More and more pages are being added to my website, so please please, bookmark it or anything and keep checking back. I know a few people have done this RSS thing, I have no idea what it is.. But use it if you can. OH yeah song of the day has to be How Long by Al Gordon. I really need to get a review of that album up soon.

Dinner Party & Hairspray

Some nights are quiet and those nights end up being more fun than planned. Were having people over for a dinner party tonight so last night did consist of cleaning, but after all my hard work I decided to get the latest film that was sent to us in the post by love Film. The latest sent out film was of course the manly Film "Hairspray".(yes the film that John Travolta plays a woman, he plays it well) OK so its not that manly and it is a musical, but I really enjoyed it, its a bit of a classic musical, singing dancing based in early 60's and deals a little bit with racism in America during that time. I have to admit I really enjoyed it. But please don't tell everybody that.

I always find it hard to find time to blog on the weekend so Ill try and tell you a little of whats going on in the Jono life. I'm up early tomorrow setting up tables for the reception of a beautiful couple in our church. My mother is doing all the food for over 100 people so Ill probably end up being a waiter as well. Ill probably end up playing a game of football as well in the evening. Busy times.
I soon will have the Jono Show back on air as the sonriseradio.com website is nearly back up and running, so please start to get your requests in to the show jono@thejonoshow.com I will give you a shout out and more than likely play any song you want.. In reason of course. policy is.. No Rude words.

Website Quality & Gigs

Am I getting to old to go to gigs, when you look around and everyone seems to be a good 5-10 years younger than you. That's what happens these days. I love music, I love live music. But I think my days of standing in the pit with all these young people is over. I think its stand at back, relax and enjoy. Saying that Delirious gig last night was very very good. Supported by Tree 63 who were amazing, took a while for The Bristol crowd to get going, it looked like to me they were not the most rocking of crowds. Delirious came on and blew the crowd away, with classics from older albums to great rocking tunes off there latest album Kingdom of Comfort. Martin Smith's vocals were as good as I have ever heard. Stu G playing his guitar like i have never seen before, especially during Stare The Monster Down. Jon Thatcher even smiled during the gig, maybe it was a bit of wind who knows. And to have new drummer Mr Paul Evans managed to reach the same high quality of drumming as Stew Smith, well what can I say amazing. And Tim Jupp playing like the legend he is and looking even cooler these days.

There has been a few comment in some quarters regarding the quality of this site compared to other peoples site. I would like to add some comments to these people. Firstly I created this site myself from scratch, and with a little help from blogpsot.com who I thank for letting me have so many blog pages. If I was a computer geek and able to write html quickly of course my website might be of a cooler quality, but I can't. I never made this site to be the best, I didn't even realise there was a competition going on. I did this site to a) give information/news on bands, a place to get info quickly b) to review albums I have been given and put my view across (even if it isn't what everyone else is thinking, but I'm aloud a view) and c) a place where people can listen again to my radio show (I think its good quality, not everyone will and that's cool). But to compare my site against someone else is who is by far better at making websites is a bit unfair. Please just enjoy the site, if you don't that's fine, but there is no need to be nasty about it

Exciting Gigs

I haven't been this excited in years. I woke up this morning thinking I was 15 again. I'm off to Bristol Carling Academy to see a little band called Delirious?. This will be gig 17 I think. I started being A Delirious fan back in 1999. Someone played down the phone to me two Delirious tracks I might like. And I was impressed so she then gave me the King of Fools on tape(yeah they once were cool), I then feel in love with this band. Forward 9 years and its nearly the end of Delirious as sad as that is with them breaking up. It will be good to see Delirious at there best. Which leads me on nicely to the song of the day.
I decided last night to put every album, every delirious track on my I pod and let it shuffle on the way into work. Which leads me to this Track from World Service (something like there 6th studio album). The track is Every Little Thing, what a beautiful tune, and if you listen very carefully you can Hear Daniel Beddingfield singing in the chorus. I was trying to think of something to say about my blog and really there is no update, apart from e-mail jono
@thejonoshow.com if you want me to chat about something, or get a request on my show.

Tuesday, 14 October 2008

I was walking to work today thinking have I got anything interesting to say today on my blog. One thing that jumped out at me was the track of the day. Let me also start by saying I love this New Oasis album "Dig out Your Soul" but the first track is amazing (in my opinion). So song of the day goes to the might Oasis with "Bag it up". Ok what did I do last night, I got home had a Turkey Curry and then headed out to Worship Practice with my Guitar until just gone Nine. Had a chat and then came home watched that New Peter Kay comedy on Channel 4 which I had recorded and then Bed. Great new comedy, very very funny. Not much crazy stuff happening, but it was all good.

I hate it when it starts to get darker outside makes me feel all sleepy when I wake up. I suppose were going to have to get used to this now, as its nearly Christmas. I am a massive fan of Christmas, I love the tree putting up process. I love the whole trying hard to think of gifts to buy people. I would rather people just said "Jono get me the new Kings of Leon album" or "For Christmas I would like some smellies". I suppose Christmas has its bad points as well. "Christmas Shopping" My biggest fear. Im just glad we have the Internet. I will moan about that in the coming weeks.

On a completely different matter, on my news page there is info about the New Delirious Single and also about new albums out By David Crowder Band, Tomlin & Hall. So go check them out. Also the Brenton Brown review is up for all to read, another great Christmas Present. Right I'm off. Chat soon.

Weekend of Food

Every time I write a blog entry, I wonder does anyone reading this really care about my view on situations or what I have to say about myself and what I did, then I thought they probably don't. But its kind of like the Diary effect, write down your thoughts get them off your chest. I never wrote a diary as a child made me think of a teenage girl writing down here issues on make up and boys. Not my kind of thing. But I'm really enjoying writing these blogs. Maybe as I get older I'm turning more and more girly. So what did happen on this fantastic weekend that I didn't even have time to blog on here.
Well it all started Friday night with a meal for my Brothers 24th. I had to start Pattie then a main of a Rack of Lamb chops with a potato thing and for dessert white chocolate cheese cake with blackcurrant. Was beautiful and had a few drinks.
Saturday started with a lot of house cleaning, me and the wife always seem to end up house cleaning on a Saturday morning as were both in work all week. After I managed to Henry(my hoovers name) everywhere in the house. It was time for Five A Side Football, My team drew 9-9 after a rubbish start, I really didn't enjoy playing Saturday night, but the after game curry was beautiful. A bit of Lamb Tika Masala with Rice, beautiful.
Sunday started with waking up early to get to church for me to set up and lead the worship. The first four songs were rubbish. Then I relaxed and worshiped so it seem to flow more. Had A family lunch and tea went to sleep and suprise surpise its now Monday.
I found out Delirious today will be releasing a last Single before the split up.(please go and buy it, Ill add a news item so you can work out the best way for you to buy it) I have been a fan of Delirious since before the world began. But a last single release should be good.If you wonder why I have some green text in my blogs. Its probably a link to the thing were talking about. Like for example The song of today is Delirious? It's Ok. While walking into work today as it was still dark and street lights still, I realised how beautiful a track it was on. (click green link to see you tube video).
I'm off to see Delirious in Bristol on Wednesday should be good. Tonight its worship practice then home to sleep I have decided today no rant, ill leave that until tomorrow. Until then have fun and look out for each other.

Birthday Blog

Happy Birthday Steven, 24 Today. Just in case you didn't know Steven is my little Brother, who is really taller and bigger built than myself. But he is still my little brother. Were all going out as a family to La Marina Tonight in Penarth, Should be good. My Dad is paying so Lobster it is.
On a different subject I have decided to have a song of the day for my blog and today's is the song you hear at the start of Cricket on Five its called Shine by Australian Singer Shannon Noll. Its a good tune and I was listening to it as I was on the train and really lifted my day.
Another issue I have, why are people so sad on the trains, there all head down quiet reading the Metro or some novel they were told by a friend was good and there only reading as there is nothing else to do.(There only reading the Metro cause it's Free). I see the same people every day for the last 7 years and its crazy. I try and take different trains cause looking at some of there miserable faces really annoy me.
Another thing I'm going to add to my blog is football game of the weekend, this weekend we have some great football games with International. But the game I'm going to pick is England u21 V Wales u21 (first leg at Ninian Park, Second Leg at Villa Park). Check out those games, great quality up and coming teams fighting for a place in a European Championship...I think!!!
Anyway Have a great weekend, if I get a moment Ill blog on the weekend. If not See you Monday

The Blog

I used to write a blog a few years ago, when blogs were cool. Now there not I want to re do one. I have decided to re do a blog as I was updating my site The Jono Show (I run a online radio show..its sort of good). So your saying, I don't care what you have to say for yourself. And you might not, but someone out there might fancy reading little snippets of my views on stuff and maybe even get something out of it. Ok So a little about myself. I am Jono Davies i'm 25 years old, Married to Hannah (she is a Primary school Teacher) and live in Barry(where Gavin & Stacey is filmed and based). I work as an Accounts Manager for a firm of Solicitors in Cardiff (where Doctor Who & Torchwood is filmed). I run a radio show called The Jono Show (I made that name up myself, i'm so cool). Ill tell you more about myself in days to come. This Blog is interlinked with my Radio Show site so click some buttons on your left to read other things.

So The big news of this week so far is The New Oasis Album. Dig out Your Soul is/was Oasis 7th Studio album. I am really getting into it, the best tracks on the album in my humble opinion is Bag it up, I'm Outta Time & Falling Down. Some great tunes, its a bit different, no big anthem ballads. But That's good.

This week I have also have my Little Brothers (he is 24) Family Birthday Party. I believe we are going to La Marina which is Custom House in Penarth, Should be good. Ill keep you up to date. With my Brother living in Swansea we don't see each other much, he is a good guy. But keeps himself to himself. I only get to see him on birthdays and Christmas, SO it will be amazing to see him

Right I have gone on enough. I'm off to sort out some work and I will hopefully speak to you guys soon.
